Responsibilities:
- Assist the direct superior in policy underwriting and amendments of insurance contracts
- Review and process new applications for life insurance ensuring applications to meet with technical, legal and underwriting guidelines
- Assist in determining risk, through evaluation of an individual's medical records, job duties, lifestyle and financial background, and other information pertinent to the decision
- Underwrites insurance applications within company and medical information bureau gudelines set for the issuance of policies on a standard basis
Requirements:
- Candidate should possess at least a Bachelor Degree in Mathematic science, Actuary or equivalent
- Having a minimum of 3 years experience working in actuarial area at a Life Insurance company
- Preferably already have a structural training & project assignment related to Underwriting technical
- Having a strong competency in the underwriting process and risk management
- Having experience in individual, group and pricing underwriting
