The Association of Southeast Asian Nations - ASEAN is a regional-intergovernmental organization in Southeast Asia Region. The Organization was established on 8 August 1967 in Bangkok Thailand. Curently ASEAN comprises by 10 countries, namely Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Brunei Darussalam, Cambodia, Lao PDR, Myanmar, Philippines, and Viet Nam. The ASEAN Secretariat (ASEC) is based in Jakarta and located in Jl Sisimangaraja 70A Jakarta 12100 Indonesia. The Secretariat was set up in 1976 by the Foreign Ministers of ASEAN. Currently, Dr Surin Pitsuwan from Thailand become the Secretary-General of ASEAN for 2008-2012 periods. The basic function of the ASEAN Secretariat are providing an efficiency in the coordination of ASEAN organs and for more effective implementation of ASEAN projects and activities.

The ASEAN Sectretariat (ASEC) is seeking qualified candidates to fill in the following vacant positions

Chief Security

Requirements
  • Bachelor Degree with Safety & Security Training;
  • Minimum related Work Experience 4 years;
  • Safety and Security Knowledge and skills and very good sense of security discipline that consistent with international organization environment;
  • Skills on Effective Communication and familiarity with communication technology e.g. VHF, HF System;
  • Coordination and networking skills; Supervision and people skills; Monitoring and assessment skills; Negotiating and conflict resolution skills;
  • Bilingual - Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia both in verbal and writing; Computer skills – word, excel, PowerPoint
Security Guards

Requirements

  • At least Senior High School
  • At least two years of experience performing security function in government, international organisation, or private sectors with proven record of trustworthiness, sound, and quick judgement.
    Receptionist

    Requirements
    • At least Diploma (D-III) degree of office administration or public relation.
    • At least 1 year of experience performing telephone operator or receptionist function in government, international organisation, or private sectors.
