Senior Manager – Assurance (SM ABAS)

- Assuming managerial responsibility for a team of professionals to deliver quality audit and other assurance services, you have to ensure client satisfaction through high quality service deliverables.
- You will be responsible for participation and supervision of audit engagements, audit of financial statements, preparation / review of consolidated financial statements, performing planning and control procedures, reviewing clients’ accounting system and internal control system, preparation of audit reports, managing, appraising and training of audit teams.
- You will gain exposure to working on a wide variety of clients & potentially allow you the opportunity to gain exposure to special work e.g. stock exchange transactions, due diligence & acquisition work.
- Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy.
- At least 10 year(s) of working experience in the related field (external audit) is required for this position.
- A grounding knowledge in IFRS or US GAAP;
- Sarbanes Oxley experience is also advantageous however not essential.
- Professional certification is required (CPA, CA, etc)
- Able to demonstrate project management skills
- Sound English report writing skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong customer service orientation.
- Enjoy working in a collaborative environment.
- Willing to travel, possibly to remote areas.

Responsibilities:
- PwC Indonesia’s specialist, Jakarta based, team deals uniquely with forensic engagements, working for major Indonesian and overseas clients. We have expertise in fraud investigations, forensic accounting, forensic data mining, electronic data and document recovery, corporate fraud risk assessments and regulatory compliance (Indonesian anti-corruption law, FCPA and UK Bribery Act etc).
- In every engagement we have the same overriding objective – with integrity, to identify fact through robust and diligent forensic processes. Furthermore, we recommend and provide realistic and achievable solutions to forensic related business issues. We have a high level of understanding of local business environments and cultures, as well as best practice knowledge from around the world. Globally PwC Forensic Services comprises of 1500 professionals in over 30 countries.
- Essential, to possess a bachelor degree in accounting from a prominent Indonesian or overseas University with a minimum GPA of 3.00 (out of 4.00);
- Professional experience in a multinational public accounting firm would be an advantage
- A confident communicator, both orally and written, with strong commercial and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities:
- The candidate will assist senior managers in delivering a wide range of forensic assignments, acting as the client’s main point of daily contact
- Projects could include forensic accounting (contract disputes, financial misstatements, acquisition valuation disputes, quantification of loss) assessing compliance to global anti-fraud and governance standards, fraud risk assessments, forensic investigation (interviewing, statement taking, evidence gathering), and corporate intelligence
- The candidate will be actively involved in the development of new and existing client relationships and is expected to maintain a strong personal profile, both within PwC and externally in the market, to seek out new business opportunities
- Essential, to possess a bachelor degree in accounting or Finance from a prominent Indonesian or overseas University with a minimum GPA of 3.00
- Essential, at least 2 years professional audit experience in a multinational public accounting firm
- A confident communicator, both orally and written, with strong commercial and interpersonal skills
- Self motivated, confident and proactive
- Write and speak fluent Bahasa Indonesia and English
