PROJECT COST CONTROL - Mining
Supervise and coordinate onsite training process including implementation, policies and programs in order to ensure onsite training is well conduct in line with training plan as well as company’s policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:

ACCOUNT PAYABLE
To Control the account payables routines in each Section including monitoring the processing and payment of creditor invoice and raising and collection of client invoices.
Requirements:

  • Implement on safety and environmental target in the office.
  • Calculate and ensure VAT, withholding tax is properly accounted for and paid.

ADMIN ASSISTANT

Engineering Manager
Plan, direct and control the Engineering function to produce a cost effective engineered solution (including the development of appropriate Specifications) for the Project within the budgeted man hours and within the tendered timeframe by utilizing capable and appropriate resources efficiently to ensure that Procurement/Construction activities commence on time.

Requirements:

  • Work extended hours to meet Engineering deadlines
  • Required to travel to site
  • Ensure all designs produced are cost effective and within the budget constraints of the Project
  • Develop a close relationship with the Procurement Manager
  • Comprehensive knowledge of engineering and procurement management principles and practices. Must possess an in depth knowledge of the Engineering and Design process as well as extensive experience in construction methods

Responsibilities:

  • Be fully conversant with the contents of the Project Safety Management Plans (including Environment) and the Company policies on safety. Ensure that Safety topics are discussed with all Vendors/Subcontractors/Consultants prior to the commencement of any engineering/design activities and be vigilant in enforcing the agreed standards.
  • Develop an Engineering/Design Management Plan for the Project that includes the strategy to deliver the work in accordance with the schedule parameters set by the Project Manager. This plan must be maintained and remain relevant to the function during the course of the Project.
  • Develop a detailed Engineering schedule to meet the requirements of the Project. Be fully accountable for this schedule and react to any negative movements to ensure the schedule is met.
  • Resource the Engineering department to ensure that the schedule can be delivered by all disciplines. Develop a back-up strategy to be able to react to the situation where the scope grows or delays begin. Understand the availability of resources or consultants to be able to react promptly to all situations.
  • Ensure that all members of the Engineering Team fully understand the requirement of the Project and are familiar with the Design Management Plan and are conversant with the commercial constraints of the Project Budget.
  • Interface with the Procurement function to ensure that all Technical Bid Evaluations are completed on time so that the procurement process is not delayed as a result of Engineering in decisiveness. Meet on a regular basis (more than once per week) with the Procurement Manager and plan the resource allocations to ensure schedules are met..
  • Establish and maintain effective work relationships with all members of the Project team and offer support to all persons that request support. Pass knowledge onto your team and others in the Project so that the capability of the developed team grows throughout the life of the Project.
  • Establish a comprehensive database of all Standards, Codes, and Specifications and ensure that all members of the Engineering Team are familiar with their location and the appropriate use of the information. Keep all reference material updated and current.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly reports on the progress of the engineering phase of the Project. Identify areas of concern and the strategy to mitigate the known issues.
  • Establish and maintain a detailed risk register for the engineering function and liaise with the Project Controls and Project Managers to discuss the identified risks on a regular basis.
  • Establish a rigid Document Control system to ensure that all members of the Engineering team follow the approved procedures. Provide training in the use of the system and ensure that all Vendors/Fabricators submit their documents direct to the leader of the Doc Con function.
  • Ensure that inter-disciplinary reviews are conducted for all aspects of the Project. Monitor the IDR process to ensure that the turn-around time for documents is known and the duration is being minimized.
  • Establish an efficient Technical Query system to control all TQ’s between all partners in the Project. Ensure that all subcontract Vendors/Fabricators adopt the system and it is fully utilized. Manage the TQ system and report weekly the status of all TQ’s. Continually strive to reduce the TQ response time.
  • Performs administrative supervisory tasks including evaluating employee performance, source necessary skills and resources based on manpower forecasts to provide managerial supports in administrative matters.
  • Establish a Management of Change procedure and educate the Project Team (all departments) about it’s appropriate use. Ensure the system is adopted with the use of all subcontractors to ensure that all changes are effectively managed.
  • Provide a support service to the Construction phase by assigning persons to the site team and ensuring that the response time to fieldd TQ’s is minimized.
  • Maintain and implementing HSE programs including Environmental Management System to ensure the effectiveness of the programs conform to official standard and requirements


SENIOR MINING ENGINEER
Monitor, control and supervise mining staff and resources in order to produce systems and procedures that effectively support the mining operations in achieving performance within budget.

Requirements:

  • Min. Bachelor Degree in Mining Engineering
  • Min. 4 years experiences as a Mining Engineer in open-cut mining
  • Fluent in English, written and verbal
  • Willing to be placed in all company’s locations or Jakarta
  • May be required to work flexible hours to meet project requirements


Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, analyze and adjust data of production, record details of the day’s work on a daily report pad in order to establish project performance report.
  • Identify engineering problems, propose solutions and expedite client agreement where necessary to ensure minimal disruption to the progress of the works.
  • Review client specifications, drawings and documents to ensure the requirements defined are incorporated in the works and the responsibilities allocated under the project quality system and understood and implemented.
  • Complete daily timesheets, including activity descriptions and cost codes, for each person and, where required, plant item under his responsibility.
  • Prepare data of real/ technical cost, liaise with surveyor in calculate mining reserve from drilling for project analysis purpose.
  • Coordinate requisition for small tools and consumable materials as required in order to provide site operations support.
  • Identify hazards and risks during the planning phase of the work packages in order to minimize exposure to personnel and the environment.


ENGINEERING SUPERINTENDENT
Control, monitor and supervise Business Mining Process by variance in the Project mining operations to ensure production is achieved in accordance with Project parameters, Project schedule and budget and in compliance with Petrosea and Project safety and environmental policy and guidelines.

Requirements:

  • Min. Bachelor degree in Mining Engineer.
  • Fluent in English, written and verbal.
  • Good leadership and communication skill.
  • Willing to be placed in all mining project location.
  • May be required to work flexible hours to meet Project requirements.


Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership and direction to all mining engineering staff to ensure the safest and efficient mining operations to achieve production targets.
  • Work with Senior Mining Engineer to develop weekly, monthly and shutdown schedules for inclusion in the BMP plans by the Senior Mining Engineer.
  • Assist with the implementation of the BMP system through leadership of technical assistants, production of accurate and timely reports, and troubleshooting problems encountered with the system.
  • Responsible to implement long term mine plans and short term detailed mine execution plans at all levels using the BMP process and to provide the necessary production parameters needed by BMP on a continuous feedback basis to enable short term control to achieve the long term mine plan.
  • Assist the Mining Engineer to develop and update mine plans and production schedules in accordance with project criteria.
  • Implement and manage the mining operations in accordance with the mine plan to achieve production schedules.
  • Prepare timely and accurate information on project progress for inclusion in progress claims and reports prepared by the Senior Mining Engineer.
  • Organize, coordinate and manage production meetings internally and with the Client and arrange for distribution of minutes.
  • Responsible for the optimization and utilization of mining equipment by the Mining Supervisor to achieve production targets.
  • Ensure smooth coordination between Mining operations and Maintenance to maximize availability and utilization of all mining equipment.
  • Monitor and manage the performance of all mining engineering staff.
  • Assist the Project Manager in the training and mentoring of personnel as required by the company.


CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT ENGINEER
(Assignment: Project Sites)

  • Monitor, control and analyze operation data, processes, procedures and performance, using established continuous improvement techniques in order to identify, prioritize and implement opportunity for improvement in mining project.


Requirements:

  • Min. Bachelor Degree in Mining, Civil, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering.
  • Min. 2 years working experience in an open-cut mining operation.
  • Strong computer skills, preference is competent using statistical software application such as MINITAB.
  • Strong on analytical (multi variance data) skills.
  • Good communication and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrate ability to influence others and lead change.


Responsibilities:

  • Promotion of HSE programs targeting zero work related injuries and illnesses.
  • Analysis of operational data (such as VHMS, PLM, VIMS, MIC, OpsDB, FMS) to determine performance or cost issues and work toward solution which can be delivered to the project.
  • Work in a team and set up benchmarking criteria by which improvements can be measured.
  • Develop and follow a specific method/discipline to measure the gap between current process capability with the project’s goals.
  • Establish necessary systems to maintain the improvements, and based on the results continuously adjusts the project strategic action plan.


BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT SUPERINTENDENT (Mining)
(Assignment: Jakarta)
Identify potential business development opportunities and design in Mining and oversee feasibility studies to assess their viability.

Requirements:

  • Min. Bachelor Degree in Mining Engineering
  • Having minimal 5 (five) years exposure in Mining industry
  • Min. 5 years experience in similiar field
  • Knowledge of legal & administration aspects related Mining government regulations and tender process
  • Good communication and networking capability


Responsibilities:

  • Identifying business opportunities and evaluating opportunities in mining areas such as mergers and acquisitions, alliances, and business deals.
  • Monitor and control market reserach or analysis of projects; evaluate findings, prepare reports, and make recommendations to senior management about the viability of alternative opportunities.
  • Establish long term professional relationships with potential clients, customers, and partners (for example in government or industry associations) to promote the organisation’s products and services.
  • Conduct meetings and negotiations with potential clients and business partners to pursue business opportunities and protect the organisation’s business interest.
  • Refer sales leads and customer feedback to appropriate contacts within the organisation and liaise with other functional and operational area members to ensure that these referrals are followed-up promptly.

  • Min. Bachelor degree in mining
  • Min. 8 years previous experiences in mining operation (production).
  • Fluent in English, written and verbal
  • Familiar with mining software
  • Good communication and leadership skill
  • Willing to be placed in all company location
  • Excellent computer skill
  • Certified in POP (hold POM certificate will be a plus)


Responsibilities:

  • Lead and monitor mining operations staff on their day to day mining operation, monitor and control mining equipment usage to ensure the safest and efficient mining operations in order to achieve production targets and schedule in line with the mine plan.

MINING ENGINEER
Responsible in creating module for all heavy equipment training, training presentation, making standard assessment and guideline to be implemented in all site areas of Mine Training Operation.

Requirement:

  • A minimum of 2 years experience in mining industry
  • Min. Bachelor Degree in Mining Engineering
  • Knowledge of best practice in Project Management
  • Willing to be placed in all company’s site locations
  • Good command in English written and verbal
  • Familiar with Mining software
  • Familiar with mining software: Minescape, Xpac, Surpac, Talpac


Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and analyse project performance data related to productivity, cost & safety utilising company’s standard systems in order to ensure data reliability.
  • Contribute to the development of the short term detailed mine execution plans to integrate with the mining operations (utilising Surpac mine planning software).
  • Monitor and coordinate engineering activities to ensure efficient production of engineering plans to meet contract program requirements.
  • Analyse and identify engineering problems in order to propose solutions and expedite actions regarding the client agreement where necessary.
  • Review client plans and requests to ensure the requirements defined are incorporated in the works and the responsibilities allocated under the project quality system and understood and implemented.
  • Prepare data for the progress claim report to be reviewed by the Engineering Superintendent.
  • Collect data related to subcontractor performance in order to prepare  summary reports required for the project.
  • Support and cooperate with site survey team in order to analyse progress surveys and haul profile surveys.
  • Coaching and mentoring of graduate mining engineers, mining engineers and technical assistants in order to provide technical support.
  • Identify hazards and risks during the planning phase of the work packages in order to minimise exposure to personnel and the environment.


ENVIRONMENTAL COORDINATOR
Develop, monitor , measure and evaluate all Environmental Management System to propose corrective actions in order to prevent environmental incident, comply with company’s HSE policies, government environmental regulation, and other requirements.

Requirement:

  • Min. Bachelor degree, preferably in Environmental Engineer
  • Min. 5 years experiences in Environmental
  • Required travelling to all company’s sites
  • ISO 14001 certified
  • Good communication / presentation skill
  • Willing to work outside office hour
  • Fluent in English
  • Attend Training or certification related environmental issues


Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and review form or procedure related Environmental into HSE MS to ensure all form and procedures are update, valid and in line with the current situations.
  • Coordinate and manage licence, permit and environmental legislation requirements to ensure all license required by legislation related to environmental aspect are complied.
  • Coordinate with project HSE Superintendent in conducting environmental risk assessment/aspect impact (identified and evaluate environmental hazard) based on project operation (mining, engineering & construction, POSB)
  • Provide environmental programs  calendar topic for Environmental issues and distribute to project site in order to promote  Environmental awareness and training  to Petrosea Employee.
  • Coordinate timely report preparation for internal and external purpose such as Environmental Summary Monthly Reporting and regular report to government to ensure all report are reliable and submitted in timely manner.
  • Set up, manage, implement and continuous improvement the performance of ISO 14001 system in order to maintain and enhance the overall Environmental Management System.
  • Coordinate regularly Environmental internal and external audit for all Project site Petrosea, follow up audit finding and develop gap analysis in order to develop, improve and monitor the implementation of Environmental Management Plan and other relevant environmental documentation for all Petrosea Project
  • Coordinating and monitor the performance of environmental activities such as Green House Gasses program for all sites with all management project for carbon trading and encouraging environmental awareness with other/all departments


CSR Officer
Execute and maintain CSR programs for the company and develop sustainable links with local stakeholders (community, local government, NGO, etc) in term of assisting CSR Coordinator to ensure the sustainability of company’s licence to operate.

Requirements:

  • Min. Bachelor degree from any major, preferably in Public Relation or Communication
  • Min. 2 years working experiences in related field
  • Deep understanding of community initiative subject
  • A self driven person and result oriented.
  • Good command in English both verbal & written.


Responsibilities:

  • Mapping the priority stakeholders in areas in which the company operates in order to design the appropriate programs that suitable with stakeholders needs.
  • Execute develop communications plans and materials, including web content, press releases and articles as well as organise several annual and special networking events and informal ceremonies involving the beneficiaries to ensure that CSR programs has been socialized and communicated well.
  • Coordinate and liase with Project Management in delivering corporate social programs to ensure corporate social programs run smoothly.

Direct and lead  mining operation activities in term of support mining project manager to ensure production is achieved in accordance with BMP (Business Mining Petrosea), project parameters, project schedule, budget, in compliance with company’s project safety and environmental policy.

  • Min. Bachelor degree in mining
  • Min. 10 years previous experiences in mining operation (production),  minimum 5 years in managerial position
  • Fluent in English, written and verbal
  • Familiar with mining software
  • Good communication and leadership skill

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and  control day to day F&A operation for projects, project reporting, analysis, forecast, cash flow management, GL and Balance Sheet Managemenet and profit & Loss reconciliation and administration, especially respect to :

Requirements:

  • Min. Bachelor degree in any disciplin, preferably from Occupational Health & Safety.
  • Min. 8 years previous experiences in HSE
  • Excellent analytical, supervisory and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Indonesian.


Responsibilities:

  • Lead and monitor the implementation of Health and Safety Management Plans, Environmental Management Plans and Emergency Response Procedures across all projects to ensure target plans are achieved.
  • Develop and communicate industrial safety policies and procedures to Business Line site location to ensure Project Managers and Teams are familiar with and understand management of industrial safety.
  • Prepare, establish and coordinate HSE Pre Qualifications or tender preparations for tender submission purpose.
  • Participate and review new project kick off meeting to determine effective project HSE management plan and integrate company’s system with client’s.
  • Lead by example and have a proactive approach to all safety and environmental related issues in order to influence safety awareness among employees.
  • Perform routine scheduled inspections and audits across all projects to ensure safety adherence in Business Line site locations.
  • Analyse and identify hazards and risks during the planning phase of work packages in order to minimise exposure to personnel and the environment.
  • Monitor and review Business Line HSE policies and procedures to ensure compliance with government safety regulations, including distribution of any changes and amendments, and any new legislation.
  • Identify and pproposed any new HSE initiatives to Business Line Operation Manager or Business Line Project Manager in order to manage and control the hazard and risk on site.
  • Performing a strong visible commitment in to HSE Management System as well as all programs.
  • Support Environmental performance and maintain third party accreditation (i.e. ISO 14001) and work effectively with certification body in order to preserve international standard accreditation.
  • Maintain and implementing HSE programs including Environmental Management System to ensure the effectiveness of the programs conform to official standard and requirements.



GBP PROJECT ACCOUNTANT
Perform and responsible for finance, accounting and Cost Control funtion in order to produce timely and accurate financial information for project.
Requirements:

  • Min. Bachelor degree in accounting
  • Min. 3 years experiences as accountant
  • Attention to detail and accurancy essential
  • Good command in English
  • Good computer skill, especialy in excel program
  • Familiar with accounting system
  • Over time might be required to meet report deadlines
  • Business travel and working for periods of time on site project might be required.


Responsibilities:
Monitor and  control day to day F&A operation for projects, project reporting, analysis, forecast, cash flow management, GL and Balance Sheet Managemenet and profit & Loss reconciliation and administration, especially respect to :

  • Revenue and production data and estimates (including Rise and Fall)
  • Major Subcontractor and supplier Cost estimates
  • Backcharge to client
  • Contingency â€" risks and Opportunities
  • Other cost, plant rates, capital equipment
  • Ensure all client and Subcontractors Invoices are issued and paid as per contract terms(including Backchargers)
  • Monitor the key contractual clauses â€" e.g. financial implications of damages, biling, other financial related clauses in the contract
  • Monitor the project risks and opportunities and be proactive in risks mitigation and opportunity identification.
  • Responsible for completion of F&A requirements for project including initial project set up, bank accounts, systems, taxation.
  • Manage the interface between the project and corporate F&A Function on all F&A aspect relating to:
  • Taxation
  • Transaction Processing (Payroll,Ledgers etc)
  • Treasury
  • Forex management
  • Statutory Accounting Requirments
  • Management Internal Reporting Accounting
  • Prepare and control the Project Checklist Finance and Accounting.


POSB â€" Senior Cost Control
To contribute to the success of the POSB by providing accurate and timely cost reporting, which shows devitiation from budgets and forecast estimates.

Requirements:

  • Min. Diploma or bachelor Degree in accounting.
  • Min. 3 years experience in accounting area
  • Skill in communication, information dissemination, organization, delegation, supervision
  • Process strong analytical thinking and ability to communicate with all levels
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of some financial documents
  • Strong negotiation skill
  • May be required to work extended hours to meet reporting deadlines


Responsibilities:

  • Responsible to maintain and use effective cost control systems daily and monthly in accordance with company procedures from award to completion, using data collected from all departments at site and off site, and SBOS.
  • Resposible to prepare,review and approve the cost report for the project monthly report in accordance with reporting deadlines.
  • Responsible to receive the approves daily worksheets from the base controller and use this information in the preparation of monthly invoices and reports.
  • Responsible to accurately prepare budget forecasting and progress monitoring ativities and reporting for use by the operations manager and the supply base manager in controlling project margins.
  • Responsible to forecast resource requirements including manning levels for use by the Operation Manager
  • Responsible to assist with monthly progress claims in association with the Operations Manager and to ensure the subsequent invoice is submitted and payment received within the payment terms of each of the contract.
  • Responsible to prepare cash flow ferecasts for the POSB.
  • Responsible to prepare and maintain current the project varitation register
  • Provide logistical support to the operations manager in resolving contractual issues with the client, including drafting formal letters and attending negotiations of a contractual nature.
  • Provide support to the Operation Manager with the preparation and documentation of variations and claims to their scope of work and successfully negotiate these to settlement, including a running log of all contractual correspondence to settlement.


PROCUREMENT ANALYST
Analyse procurement indicator and order/vendor database and provide report in weekly bases for System inventory to achieve the most efficient and effective way to meet Company’s goals in accordance to procedures, bussiness ethics and government regulations.

Requirements:

  • 3-5  years experiences in procurement analyst or business analyst
  • Min. Bachelor degree in Engineering
  • Good knowledge of quality the materials according to international standard spesification
  • Good communication & negotiation skill
  • Time manageable and target oriented
  • Good behaviour, open, honest and proactive person
  • Must be proficient in Excel, Power point or repor preparation and presentation
  • Able to maintain teamwork
  • Working in details
  • Able to maintain and uphold work and business ethics
