PT XL Axiata Tbk - XL Axiata is one of the largest telecommunication company in Indonesia. The Company established on 6 October 1989 under the name of PT Grahametropilitan Lestari and started its business initially in trading and general services. In 1995 the Company began to focus on basic telephony services as its core business and its names changed into PT Excelmindo Pratama and in year-end 2009 the Company changed into PT XL Axiata Tbk. Shareholding structure of XL Axiata consist of Axiata Investment Sdn. Bhd with 66.7%, Etisalat International Indonesia with 13.3% and public owned 20% total shares. Based on XL Axiata annual report 2010, the Company's revenue increased 27% to Rp17.637 billion from Rp13.880 billion in 2009 while EBITDA is Rp9.287 billion, up 50% year on year resulting a net profit of Rp2.891 billion. The number of subscribers increased 205 to 40.4 million.
