The Company is part of Trans Corporation, one of the largest holding company owned by Chairul Tanjung. Trans TV based in South Jakarta and all of its programs broadcasted in all over Indonesia. Trans TV obtained broadcasting license in October 1998 and began broadcasting on 15 December 2001. Trans TV programming includes variety shows such as Comedy Project, Sketsa. It also broadcasts talk show programs, tallent shows programs such as IMB, music programs, religious programs, movies programs, gossip shows such as Insert, and regular news.
