United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) - is part of the United Nations to fight against illicit drugs and international crime. UNODC operates in more than 150 countruies around the world, working closely with governments and civil society to strengthen security and the rule of law and improve health and development foll all. UNODC headquartered in Vienna Autria and its liaison office located in New York USA. Its established in 1997 through a merger between the United Nations Drug Control Programme and the Centre for International Crime Prevention. The UNODC stragey for confronting crime, drug and terorism integrated both thematic and regional approaches to ensure that UNODC's initiative are proactivem focused and effective. UNODC work falls into 5 (five) interrelated thematic areas : Organized crime and trafficking, Corroption, Criminal justise reform, Health and livehoods, Terrorism provention.

Programme Associate (Post No: 26134)Recruitment Qualifications
- University degree in law or equivalent academic training. Post-graduate (Masters or equivalent degree) is an advantage
- At least 5 years relevant work experience, in a Government, bilateral or multilateral agency relating to the justice sector or law firm
- Good knowledge of criminal justice issues.
- Knowledge of the field of counter-terrorism and related legal and criminal justice challenges is an advantage.
- Fluency in English and national language with good writing and presentation skills are a requirement
