The company established with the name of Hollandsche Beton Maatschappij (HBM) and changed its name to PT Hutama Karya in 1973. There are 3 division in its company; Road & Bridge Division, Building Division, Bussines Support Division. The company also supported by 5 regional offices in all over Indonesia. PT. Hutama Karya (Persero) became the prelude for technological innovation with the discovery of Freeway Turning Base called by LPBH-80 ‘SOSROBAHU’ by Dr. Ir. Tjokorda Raka Sukawati.
