agree to work for Batu Hijau mine copper and gold with the Republic of Indonesia in an area in the province of West Nusa Tenggara.

MEN0047 - Engineer Drill & Blast

Responsibility:

• The Engineer - Drill & Blast will provide the link between the design and analysis of drill and blast practices and the production group to the facilities optimum blasting outcomes.


• An experienced drill and blast engineer is required to manage the comprehensive daily, weekly, and monthly scheduling of drill and blast activities that are required to maintain production targets and complete scheduled project work


• The Engineer - Drill & Blast will be required to develop and schedule drilling patterns and coordinate daily mine blasts. He/She will monitor CPI’s on mine operational performance and assist in reducing mining inefficiency. He/She will also be required to fill in for production engineers and ore control engineers when necessary

Qualifications:

• B.Sc or M.Sc Degree in Mine Engineering or related field and three to five (3-5) years of directly related experience is required


• Certified of competency for Frontline Operational Supervisor of OHS ad Mine Environment from DEMR


• Advanced technical knowledge of mine engineering is required
