PT Pelabuhan Indonesia I (Persero) was established under Government Regulation no. 56 in 1991 with a deed of Notary Imas Fatimah SH. 1 dated December 1, 1992 as stipulated in the Supplement to Official Gazette No. Rl. 8612 of 1994, as well as recent changes announced in the Supplement to Official Gazette dated January 2, 1999 Rl No. 1.

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS:
- SMK graduates, major in Mechanical Engineering and Electrical Engineering
- Maximum age 25 years old per 1 September 2011
- Score of National Exams (UN) on average at least 7.0
- Minimum height 162 cm
- Mastering in English
- Not married
- Physically and mentally healthy
- Not afraid of heights
- Not wearing glasses
- Willing to be placed throughout the PT. Pelabuhan Indonesia I (Persero)
- Willing to follow employee orientation and kesamaptaan training
- Not tied to a bond with the agency / company
- Never be honorably discharged not on own request or not with respect as CPNS / PNS, or dismissed with respect as private employees
